AfterBell Adventures is unconditionally committed to the safety, welfare and protection of every child who participates in our programmes. The wellbeing of children is our highest priority.
Our approach
- All staff undergo appropriate background checks and vetting prior to working with children.
- Staff receive training in child protection awareness and appropriate professional boundaries.
- We operate clear policies regarding appropriate adult-child interactions.
- Any concerns about a child's welfare are taken seriously, documented and acted upon appropriately.
- We cooperate fully with statutory authorities in any matter relating to child safety.
- Our child-protection policies are reviewed regularly.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please call 111 (NZ Police) or 0508 326 459 (Oranga Tamariki — Ministry for Children).
